Here's how to set up Face ID on your iPhone:
Check Compatibility: First, make sure your iPhone supports Face ID. It's available on iPhone X and later models (excluding iPhone SE 2nd and 3rd generation).
Go to Settings: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Find Face ID & Passcode: Scroll down and tap on "Face%20ID%20&%20Passcode". You might be prompted to enter your passcode.
Set Up Face ID: Tap on "Set%20Up%20Face%20ID" or "Reset Face ID" if you've already set it up and want to redo it.
Position Your Face: Follow the on-screen instructions to position your face inside the frame. You'll need to move your head slowly in a circle so the iPhone can capture your facial data from different angles.
Complete the Scan: The iPhone will scan your face twice. Try to keep your face in the frame and move your head steadily.
Set Up an Alternate Appearance (Optional): After the initial setup, you might be prompted to set up an "Alternate%20Appearance". This is useful if you wear glasses, a hat, or change your appearance frequently.
Configure Face ID Options: Once Face ID is set up, you can customize how it's used. In the Face ID & Passcode settings, you can enable or disable Face ID for:
Troubleshooting: If you're having trouble, make sure your face isn't obstructed (by a mask, for example). Also, ensure the TrueDepth camera isn't covered.
